Screw chiller is a chiller with various types of screw compressors as the host. It is an assembled refrigeration device composed of a screw refrigeration compressor, a condenser, an evaporator, a thermal expansion valve, an oil separator, and automatic control components and instruments. At present, screw chillers are being used more and more widely in the field of refrigeration and air-conditioning in my country, and their typical cooling capacity ranges from 700 to 1000 kW.
Advantages:
1. Simple structure, few moving parts, few wearing parts and long service life.
2, the circular motion is stable, and there is no "surging" phenomenon during low-load operation.
3, the compression ratio can be high, and the EER value is high.
4. It can be adjusted steplessly in the range of 10%~100%, with high efficiency under partial load and significant power saving.

Disadvantages:
1. The price is higher than the piston type. The single machine capacity is smaller than the centrifugal type, and the speed is lower than that of the centrifugal type.
2. The lubricating oil system is more complicated and consumes a lot of fuel.
3. Large-capacity unit has higher noise than centrifugal type.
4. High processing precision and assembly precision are required.
