The screw chiller is a kind of industrial refrigeration equipment that many large enterprises often use because of its compact structure, high work efficiency, energy saving and easy operation. However, after a long period of use, it will definitely cause a certain degree of wear, so how to effectively extend its service life?
First of all, it is necessary to establish a cleaning and maintenance regulation system for the screw chiller, and record each maintenance work. Regarding the cleaning of the unit, it is not only for the appearance, but also for the cleaning of the evaporator, condenser, pipeline, filter, cooling tower, and fan of the unit, so as to avoid the fouling of impurities in the water. Next, replace the compressor lubricant according to the usage time of the screw chiller. The main function of lubricating oil for the compressor is lubrication, cooling and capacity adjustment. It is recommended that the lubricating oil be cleaned once every 10,000 hours of chiller operation; replace lubricating oil every 20,000 hours or every 4 years of operation. When changing the oil, you should use the oil certified by the quality, different brands of oil can not be mixed!
Again, when using a screw chiller, the operator should always pay attention to the fact that once the chiller has abnormal sound or malfunction, it must be shut down in time to prevent the unit from being damaged twice. Then follow the fault indication in the chiller control panel to troubleshoot. When the fault has not been eliminated, remember to not start the chiller. Finally, regularly record the data of the unit operation (including unit maintenance) to facilitate future inquiries. After a long period of use, the components of the unit should be inspected to ensure proper operation. If the machine does not need to be operated for a long time, the water inside the unit and the pipeline should be cleaned to avoid damage to the unit components.
